In the current era or generation, technology is growing, and the use of computers, laptops, building apps, and building websites — making the whole world digital — has become the norm. It’s like no one can live without technology, and you might even be called dumb if you don’t know some basics of technology.   Now, for all this technology to work and sustain, people learn, study, and make a profession in CODE/CODING.   Given where the world is headed, many people have different opinions on whether coding is good or bad, beneficial or not, and so on. In this blog, I’m expressing my perspective on coding, given that I almost swim in code 😂. Being a CS grad, yes, we have to — or rather, I chose to — dive and swim in this ocean called coding and making applications and all the tech. I hope you can relate if you are in a similar field as mine; otherwise, it’s just a nice story.   So yeah, enough with the introductions.   Let me get to the point. ...

The city where I actually "grew"

At the start of 2025, I had the opportunity to do an internship somewhere completely new—Hyderabad. It wasn’t my hometown, not the place I grew up, not my native place. I literally knew nothing about the city except the language. And I was about to stay there, alone, for 6 months. Let’s just say: it changed me, emotionally and physically. Did I enjoy it?— Absolutely yes. Did I learn anything?—Tons. Living alone isn’t a piece of cake—even making a cake is tough! There’s so much you discover about yourself when you step out of your comfort zone.
