At the start of 2025, I had the opportunity to do an internship somewhere completely new—Hyderabad. It wasn’t my hometown, not the place I grew up, not my native place. I literally knew nothing about the city except the language. And I was about to stay there, alone, for 6 months. Let’s just say: it changed me, emotionally and physically. Did I enjoy it?— Absolutely yes. Did I learn anything?—Tons. Living alone isn’t a piece of cake—even making a cake is tough! How I Got My Groove Back (a.k.a. My Second Workshop Experience 😄) The first one was in college and that was pretty awesome-want me to write about it?-let me know in the comments.. -My first ever Hackathon experience So, we decided to give Vikasana a fresh start, and what better way than jumping into a hackathon? That’s how we ended up at MVJ College of Engineering in Whitefield for an on-the-spot-themed hackathon—Disaster Management. Our team? Me, along with three insanely smart people: Dinesh, Mihir, and Falisha—of course, all from Vikasana. They named our squad Homi Baba (because why not). The Pre-Hackathon Hype A day before the hackathon, we had a strategy meeting—what to do, how to plan, and all that jazz. Mihir was on full motivational mode: “Bruh, yess! Let’s go!
